Short personal profile

Dr. Christian Ersche is a sociologist with a research focus on globalization and development theories.

He studied sociology and economic and social history at the University of Freiburg and has worked as a research assistant at the IUniversity of Freiburg's Institute of Sociology and at the Freiburg Institute for Applied Social Sciences (FIFAS).

In 2009, he completed his studies with the MA thesis, "Contemporary Chinese-African Relations: On the Significance of Current Economic Trends for the Sociological Discourse on Development".
